FAQ
I am not in the boundaries redrawn at CPC so I am free, right? No one is out of the CD Expansion yet. People outside the redrawn district boundaries need to know the redrawn map is still only a recommendation and that the City is continuing to consider alternative versions of the map that they believe are necessary to placate neighbors and shore up legal and public opinion support. No one in the original CD Expansion should feel safe because the map’s current version does not include their home.
Why not simply mail my affidavit or wait for a Reply Card?
Our experience at CPC demonstrates that mailing is not fast enough to get your NO counted in time. Some reply cards arrived AFTER the CPC Meeting.
- Let’s not make the mistake of waiting for Reply Cards again. Fill out an Affidavit NOW!
- Randy Jesberg, 6957 Tokalon, will hand-deliver your affidavit and get it logged with the City.
If I have already replied to CPC, do I need to do another Affidavit?
Yes, we are not taking any chances.
If I don’t reply, isn’t that a NO?
Unfortunately a NO REPLY is not a NO. Paula Blackmon sees NO REPLIES as “I am not opposed to a CD,” so it works in favor of Yesses.
From Randy Jesberg:
She [Paul Blackmon] really wants to hear from everyone including the No Reply’s to have a clear picture. She made it clear that she will interpret a NoReply as “Not Opposed.”
